How we're built to meet platform policy.

This page is public on purpose. The same content here is served to every visitor — and to every platform's systems. Below is a good-faith account of how LinkCompliant is designed to meet each major platform's published content policy, cited directly. This is compliance, not cloaking.

The four principles behind the design.

  • One page for everyone. The exact same screened page is served to every visitor and to every platform’s systems. We do not detect crawlers and we do not show them different content.
  • No deceptive redirects. The destination a link shows is the destination it delivers — no bait-and-switch, no excessive redirects, no changing the end destination after it is displayed.
  • Screened before publish. Every image is checked against platform nudity, sexual-content, and spam policies before the page goes live. The creator decides what publishes.
  • Good faith, not a guarantee. Platforms make their own final decisions and can change their rules at any time. LinkCompliant is a compliance tool, not a warranty against platform action.

The policies, cited, and how we meet them.

Instagram

Requirements met

Platform policy: Tolerated, with conditions

How we meet it

  • What we do: Every public-surface image auto-screened; bright_line_fail blocked, eighteen_plus_gated gated, only public_safe shown Source →
  • What we do: 18+ age gate enabled (Meta's prescribed remedy for this category) Source →
  • What we do: One universal page; no per-UA content switching; identical bytes to bot & human Source →
  • What we do: Intermediary names its destination before the redirect; no hidden post-gate domain swap Source →
  • Your part: Link destination must not be a pornographic website Source →
  • Your part: The on-Instagram post/caption must not be sexual solicitation Source →

TikTok

Not permitted

Platform policy: Not permitted

TikTok prohibits linking off-platform to adult or sexual content — the link itself is the violation. Putting your LinkCompliant link on TikTok can get the link removed, your posting restricted, or your account banned. We can't make this compliant; no tool can.

Platform requirements

  • Links must not lead to or facilitate adult/sexual content; directing people off-platform to sexual services is itself prohibited Source →
  • No recognized age-gated-outbound-link mechanism exists on TikTok Source →
  • Do not circumvent moderation (cloaking/evasion is independently bannable) Source →

X

Requirements met

Platform policy: Allows, with conditions

How we meet it

  • What we do: Destination disclosed before redirect; one universal page (no per-UA switching); no bait-and-switch Source →
  • What we do: Public surface auto-screened (public_safe only); adult material kept behind the 18+ gate Source →
  • Your part: Adult posts on X must be marked/labeled as sensitive media Source →
  • Your part: Keep adult content out of highly-visible profile surfaces (profile photo, header/banner) Source →
